Professional Development Workshops

Along with the IT training, participants attend workshops to prepare them for careers using their new IT skills. Professional development workshops expose participants to regional and international experts in telecommunications policy, with discussions of the importance of a strong regulatory framework, as well as highlighting the role and importance of the private sector in advancing policy reform and IT expansion.

A series of small career skills workshops offer guidance to WIT Yemen participants on conducting a job search, enhancing communication and presentation skills, and developing an effective curriculum vitae.
