Women in Technology Yemen, a program sponsored by the Middle East Partnership Initiative, United States Department of State, empowers Yemeni women to actively participate in the development of a pluralistic society. Through this program, the women gain marketable, high-tech skills. Professional development activities and participation in a Women's Professional Network (PDN) to complement the technical training. By providing women with this wide-range of tools, the program ensures them a stronger voice in shaping their country's future. Graduates of WIT Yemen are prepared to employ their new skills and become role models for other women and girls in their society.
